McBride's Goal at Delaware Named a Top Play of the Year

Freshman Jordan McBride's (New Westminster, British Columbia) 10th goal at Delaware on March 15 this season has been named one of the top plays of the year in men's Division I college lacrosse by Inside Lacrosse. The play earned honorable mention status on the list released by the publication. [+]

Jordan McBride Named Honorable Mention All-America

After scoring 44 goals and 11 assists, freshman attack Jordan McBride (New Westminster, B.C.) has been named an honorable mention All-America by the USILA on Seminfinal Saturday at the NCAA Final Four. McBride joins Kevin Pall '02 and Brendan Callahan '07 as Stony Brook's only postseason All-Americans. [+]

Stony Brook Knocked Out of America East Men's Lacrosse Championship, 12-9

In a repeat of a game played just five days ago, Stony Brook and Albany met again in men's lacrosse action, this time in a semi-final game of the America East Championships played at UMBC. Unfortunately for Stony Brook the result was the same as the previous meeting as Albany scored four straight goals in the third to break open a tie game and take a 12-9 win. The loss ended Stony Brook's season with a 7-7 record. [+]
